The Alpine Movement…. Bradford’s answer to a lost, loved era of Indie, Soul and Disco Punk with all the Manchunian Swagger of The Happy Mondays , Stone Roses fused with a smattering of whatever you fancy.  The fun, eclectic group of casuals with their unmistakable progressive grooves are definitely difficult to pigeon-hole in the midst of the multitude of self proclaimed celebrity freaks. The breath of fresh air and ‘no bullshit’ policy make the Alpine a force to be reckoned with, especially when ‘Loud Hailer’ Phillip (Greenie) Greenaway embarks upon his poetry backed up with the band’s nuanced Wall of Sound. It’s sure to make you listen. Vocal, energetic themes of social dysfunction and geopolitical failings are forged in a unique and vibrant torrent of rhythms. This is ‘The ALPiNE MØVEMENT way’.
